Hey everyone! The Backerkit has finally been sent out! Purchase everything you want, and for those of you who put in special orders here on Kickstarter, your additional purchases will be added to the Backerkit by the MetaZoo team in the days to come (so don't worry!). 

Please remember to add a signed card to your purchases (they are free). Which card you want signed will be added as a note to your order, so either message me here on Kickstarter or through the pledge manager. 

As always, I wanted to personally thank everyone for everything they've done and all the wonderful support the community has shown us and continues to show us!

Hey everyone, good news all around! The sample cards have arrived and are being sent out in waves over the next few days. If you've backed and want sample cards, you can still sign up here: https://forms.gle/qgJ9mEKu35cPXt9w5

I know many of you have been waiting diligently for the KS survey to be sent out with the pledge manager so that you can enter your address, buy addons, etc... and we are happy to announce that we are just days away from that happening (Backerkit has a very involved process that happens in multiple steps, and we have been approved for the final steps). 

The new version of the MetaZoo website will be released tomorrow, and from there you will be able to sign up for Beta-Testing. A special invite to sign up will be sent to you here via Kickstarter messages, so be sure to check!

Once signed up for Beta-Testing, you will be able to leave comments, suggestions on the website regarding the Rulebook, but for now you can simply familiarize yourself with the gameplay! 

Finally, here is a scan of many the sample cards... just because I know so many of you will love to see them! The best part? Many of you will be holding these in your hands in just a few days!

Hey everyone! We are officially 1 week out since the campaign has ended, and things are moving fast:

• Sample cards go out this week (more on this soon)
• The official new MetaZoo website launches on September 14th. 
• The KS backer (that's you!) backerkit launches on September 14th - this will allows all backers to place  orders for more product at kickstarter prices, any new addons we think up/have been requested, as well as input your shipping address. 
• BETA-TESTING/Access to the Beta Rulebook starts on September 14th. 

For Beta-Testing, each backer will be sent exclusive instructions to sign up on the website. Beta-Testing will be fairly simple, you will be granted access to an area that looks like this (this is from Alpha-Testing and are not images of Beta cards):

When you click on a card, you will have access to a page that looks like the following: 

On each card page you will be able to leave comments, feedback, and suggestions! The cards will be update periodically throughout Beta-Testing. 

Throughout Beta-Testing, we will also have applications open for what we are calling MetaZoologists. These will be officially sanctioned MetaZoo gameplay and rule experts that will help us run tournaments, fine-tune our gameplay mechanics, and ultimately have first access to all future cards for the sake of playtesting new sets. In addition to early access to new cards, a MetaZoologist will be given free swag and promotional items, and of course be paid for their judging efforts at local, national, and international tournaments. Not to mention specially stamped Staff and Judge cards ;) Feel free 

Finally, we are including sample images/videos of the non-holo cards for the first time, as well as attaching the holo cards we showed in the last update!

WE DID IT! With your help we were able to: 

• crush our $10,000 goal
• blow past our goal of 225 backers (SIGNATURE SERIES UNLOCKED!)
• Hit 250+ followers on Facebook (GREENER PASTURES UNLOCKED!)

This is just the beginning. Sample cards are being sent out, and within the next week gameplay videos will be up and running. 

For those of you who missed out on the Kickstarter, you can pre-order here for the next month. After pre-orders close, you will not be able to buy MetaZoo: Cryptid Nation products until they are allocated to your local game store. For those of you who did contribute to the campaign, regardless of the level of your pledge you will be getting:

There are a lot of details to follow. Especially with the Backerkit and how these orders will be fulfilled. Updates will be posted almost daily with progress and news as we head toward release.
